The flow is much better than the old faucet!
The previous fitting has been in place for many years. One of the washers/grommets inside leaked when the faucet was turned on - not much, and ended up in the sink anyway. It was time for a replacement, but Home Depot didn't seem to have a replacement. Found and bought this at Revain. It took me a while to find time to install it and working under the sink isn't my favorite thing to do, but it eventually got to it. The water flow is much stronger, so kettles (for tea) and coffee pots fill up faster. All in all a significant improvement!
