Allows flow rate control of any 1/2 inch shower head or hand held shower. I think it's best to use a hand held shower when slowing the flow down to a "trickle" to save water or control the pressure for comfort. Entirely made of metal and without plastic, it is made to last. Installation is very easy - I just used teflon tape and hand tightened and no leaks were visible. I don't understand why not every hand shower has this function. It can be repaired for a few euros. You will not regret it. Remember to save water and energy.
