What a great new hamster cage. Easy, arrived in great shape! It was easy to assemble! I've always had a hamster since I was a little kid. So over the years I've come across many types of cells. I really enjoyed the Habitrail range with all the types of tubes they could run in, I'm sure my hamsters did too. The downside, however, was the cleaning. It took several hours when I had a large installation. Also, it was almost impossible to deal with the hamsters as they always headed for the next tube. So here is this very modern Savic cage called Geneva. It's SPACIOUS for a hamster, easy to clean and most importantly, easy to get the hamster out! This is the most important part! Now I go out with Chewie every night and it's so tame! So you can either treat your hamster like a fish in a habitrail or enjoy his company every night while running in your arms. The only drawback is the wheel size. I just want Savic to make it a little bigger. This change would make the cage absolutely the best of the bunch! Anyway, it's doable. Not the best, but doable. So, in summary, it's a mighty beautiful cell. Definitely would buy one. It's worth the money! Found a good silent steering wheel at Revain.! Just enter "hamster wheel" in the search field. Big enough for any normal sized Syrian hamster! My cage is now unbelievably perfect! The wheel is called KAYTEE Silent Spinner.
