I have been looking at routers since I bought this from Revaina in September 2010. exceeds the maximum distance to the router. With the Atheros AR9285 Vanilla Wireless Network Adapter on my ASUS UL30-A laptop, I can walk outside at the end of the yard and still get a quick response. People who post "waste of money", "don't buy this" are all idiots and automatically get a useless vote. Instead of constructive criticism, they pour out their hatred. A gentleman reviewed this router around the same time I bought mine, and I agree on one thing: this router tends to get very hot (so hot you can't hold it to your cheek). I've recently disconnected from my VPN (work from home) and can't tell for sure if it's a router, but I have a feeling it's because I replaced my cable modem and at this end everything works fine. But after over 4 years I would have to give this router an A+. I am currently looking for another TrendNet router as similar as possible to this one.
