I ordered these for (2) reasons. 1 - Keep the water cold during long/multi-day kayak trips. 2 - Keep the water out of the water during night hikes in the White Mountains. in the winter. I just received them and wanted to share the tests to help others. I filled 3L with 110*F water, put it up my sleeve and put it in the freezer. Freezer 0.4*F. After 18 hours, the bubble is still 95% water and contains only a few (maybe 5) ice cube sized chunks of ice. This works fine for night driving as the water doesn't freeze during my trek and after 8-10 hours when I'm in camp I'll boil new water the next day. It also allows me to leave it out in the snow when I don't feel like sleeping with my bladder to keep it from freezing. I don't usually like to sleep with a water bladder unless the temperature is below -10 degrees Fahrenheit. When kayaking, they are elastic enough to freeze. If I order (2) I can freeze (1) solid and leave in my bag and have ice cold water to drink on the second day of my trip. Also, the tubing is of a much better quality than some of the other bladders I have. Used photos after 18 hours in the freezer
