This remote control is a great replacement. Because it's made almost exactly like the original, I had no trouble using it right out of the box. The remote seems to be holding up well, but has one issue. If there are no batteries in the remote control, the battery cover will be flush with the back of the remote control. With batteries installed, however, this is no longer the case. Inserting batteries causes the battery cover to bulge, making the batteries not as secure as they could be. Therefore, the batteries sometimes move when the remote control is put down. This is not always noticeable and requires replacing the batteries.
