Review on ๐Ÿ“ก Winegard White Company PL-7000 Dish Playmaker Portable Antenna: A Convenient Solution for On-the-Go Satellite TV Access by Everald Mendez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really great buy at a good price.

I bought this to replace my Winegard G2 which was still working fine after 7 years. This Playmaker is a bit smaller and I needed a device that would fit in my Winnebago View storage boxes. That was excellent. I didn't think it would perform as well as my old G2 but was surprised when I tested it. It had better reception than my old G2 and the signal strength was strong on all satellite dishes. Over 40 on all three birds. I use Wally Receiver because of the small space in my new Winnebago View. I was planning to buy the G2+ but the price was a bit more than I was willing to pay. The G2+ requires a power supply and additional AC power. The Playmaker is powered by the receiver using the high quality coax cable that comes with the Playmaker. I'm considering putting it on the roof. I can use the old G2 when the trees are blocking the signal. The G2 requires a 12V power supply and 2 wires, so a little extra setup is required. The Playmaker receives the signal very quickly and much faster than the G2, which sometimes takes a very long time to set up. I think the new Playmaker has better electronics or something.
