I was trying to fit this to my 50 inch Vizio E TV. I cannot tighten the bracket. I put my DVD player on it and it seems to balance securely. There are holes in the shelf so now you have to worry about heat dissipation. The rubbery fabric stays securely in place. I'm glad the DVD player isn't mounted on a TV stand and I'm glad it isn't too many cables hanging down there. I live alone so I don't have to worry about the kids running in, but I would worry about not being able to close my hand if I did. I don't know if it's my TV, me or the shelf. If the lever tightened easily or there were more instructions I could use to solve the problem I would give 5 stars.
