Do not buy replacements! I assumed that the replacement element would be stronger in construction and hold up better later than the original. My original piece has held up well for over three years as of last night. I tried to replace it but it kept ripping due to water pressure. It was evident that the tensile strength of the plastic had disappeared. I ordered a replacement part and paid an extra $3 to have it delivered first thing in the morning. What I realized when trying to install it was that while the construction was made of thicker plastic for strength, it wasn't constructed the same way at the top. and below. The holes on the replacement are the same size, while the original has a smaller hole at the bottom and a larger hole at the top to accommodate the difference in size of the hardware. As a result, the bottom part clicked tightly, and the top barely. My suggestion would be: if the original is still intact, as others have commented, use some zip ties to hold it in place. This works perfectly and I believe the issue will be resolved by the time I decide to replace the entire unit. I would return this item but it is not worth my time and effort. Fortunately, this wasn't a costly mistake. I should have read the reviews before buying but I was in a panic to fix the issue as soon as possible.
