Age 26. an old deaf woman who also sleeps incredibly well is the only alarm clock that will wake me up. I sleep everything else, including heavy thunder and thunderstorms. I also had one of these alarm clocks as a teenager and it lasted into my 20's so it's definitely a big/small investment. Be careful, the numbers are really bright! That's why I often have to put my alarm clock on my face so it's not too bright when I'm trying to sleep. And one more thing, if you ever live with other people/families/roommates, there's a good chance they'll hear your alarm clock faintly through the floor, wall, or whatever, even if it's just vibrating. So if you ever live with light sleepers, they may not enjoy it unless they are humorous / whine about it / understand it is necessary for you.
