Beautifully made journal.but.

I purchased 2. 1 for my collection and 1 for a gift which is my normal routine with leather journals. I was very happy when I saw the journal. .but.I have to write that they both did have a very strong smell. I'm hoping the smell will fade before I gift it to anyone. Other than that I love it!
