Review on πŸ“ Precision iGaging Wheel Marking Gauge with 1/32" & 1mm Scale by Joey Richardson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The knife is dull but otherwise great

The cutting disc leaves almost no marks, even on pine straight out of the box. I suspect this is at least partly due to some sort of paint or other coating on the wheel. I sharpened it and now it cuts fine. Otherwise there are few things that should be good for a marking gauge and it falls within those markings. - The fence is flat. any reason. However if you measure center to center you will see that it is square. The shaft fits the hole well and snugly, maybe a little too tight as it doesn't slide easily even with the grip fully released. The handle holds the bar in place well. The markings are easy enough to read and seem fairly accurate, but if I needed precision I would still compare it to a known precision ruler. Most of the time I just use this to adjust the thickness of a piece of wood, so I doubt I'll be using markers very often. Overall it's good value for money, just be prepared to sharpen it up a bit to really use it.
