This is a high quality leather dog collar made in China. It comes in a nice box, which makes a good gift. All this in one bag to keep it clean. There was a strong musty smell when I opened it, so I took it out and put it in the sun to get rid of the smell. It took about a week for the smell to go away. It uses a quick release buckle but has two D-rings, one on each side of the buckle, for attaching a leash. The two D-rings eliminate any pressure on the buckle, so you don't have to worry about the buckle failing, which is one of the biggest problems with quick-release buckles and large, powerful dogs. A D-ring is held in place with rivets that are secure but smooth on the inside so they don't hurt the dog's neck. Seams on both sides of the collar to help stretch. This is a really good collar and has worked well for our newly adopted dog who is learning to behave off the leash but is still very good at pulling. Our girl says she recommends it. 5 Stars.
