Review on JVC KD-BT1 Stereo by Chelsea Hicks

I bought this unit mainly because I wanted a cheap unit with built in bluetooth. I have this and more. First, the Bluetooth phone I have (Nokia N95) pairs with this car stereo in about 3 seconds, it's very easy to receive and make calls through the car speakers and the included microphone, and people on the other side of the conversation can hear me . no problem. I installed the microphone next to the dashboard behind the steering wheel. Some of the features on this stereo are just great for the price. The display is nice (though not OLED), has a few animations, and can be set to show different colors for each source or auto-dimming at night. The built-in Bluetooth music streaming capabilities allow me to control and listen to my 8GB of music stored on my phone wirelessly or via USB, the music I have stored on a 4GB flash drive . The USB input is at the end of a 5ft cable that I ran to the glove box. The sound quality is fantastic, the high frequencies are very crisp and clear, and the low frequencies are very deep and exciting out of the box. I really like the build quality and looks of this device. The professional installed it in about 45 minutes and even commented very positively on the excellent purchase and the quality of the stereo. There are so many positive things I could say about this stereo but I'll leave it here. I like this unit much more for its features/looks and quality compared to the previous Pioneer unit I had.
