My Pontiac G6 '07 started giving an engine check signal indicating a problem with the fuel pump/tank pressure. We had had a new GM fuel pump installed by the dealer a few days prior as the pump was diagnosed as low pressure. After installing this cover and a few days later, the check engine light came on again. It seems that this cover often needs to be tightened. I ordered a Stant 10841 gas cap and it was tighter on the first try. will give an update if the engine check problem persists.
