The view is unbeatable!
This was a replacement for one (of 3) that I have. They are great for visibility and are "fairly" accurate. But as every aquarist knows, you should always have more than one thermometer in the tank. They die after a few years, so be prepared to replace them. It's worth it for the visibility. I have 2 underwater and 1 surface to monitor the place to heat the solar lamp for the water turtle.
