I installed this lock 3 days ago. As we are self employed we come and go throughout the day. We go home to eat, sometimes take a nap, or find something we forgot. So the curl set gets a good workout. Installation is easy, if a little tedious, as you have to use a hex wrench that only allows about 2/3 turns at a time. Installing the code is simple and straightforward. I used 6 digits including the AB sign. You may have to try it a few times before you feel comfortable. It's not difficult to open, but make sure you have a light source at night so you can see the buttons. I'm not sure how weatherproof this lock is but if after a month of use it looks good I will be using it on my barn door that doesn't have a rain guard at the top. Maybe the seller can give us some real advice on this. I have multiple apartments and I feel this lock gives me a simple mechanical (no batteries) digital entry system and eliminates the need for keys. That's why I decided to use it in my house. Overall, the lock set is easy to install, easy to use, and much more convenient than keys.
