Bought this for someone who is losing hand strength due to arthritis but although it worked sometimes I found it just lacked a "grip" on these bottles which are really difficult to open ". actually work. Love the general idea and the fact that it holds a lot of different sizes and if the jar or bottle closes snugly but not too tight it seems to do the job. But those really screwed-on bottle tops feel like more than this tool can handle - it just twists around without providing enough support to pop them open. The inner lining where the tool makes contact with the lid of what you're opening could probably use "teeth" or something similar rather than the rubber material used by the manufacturer. A great concept that works on some items but not on others.
