We had to replace the gate as the previous one was too narrow for our opening. I installed this one at the top of our stairs with screws and pressure, I have to admit it works perfectly, while the previous one gave me a headache and never stuck to our drywall. This works great, very easy to install. install and stay in place. Our 3 year old daughter "tests it" sometimes, so far it has never failed. The gate was installed for the younger sister. Our opening is 110 cm / 43.3 in and we only used the larger extension. It could possibly fit both extensions, but it would be too difficult to tighten properly. It can be opened with one hand, you just need to put your hand in the right position and don't forget to lift the opening as well. The only negative, that is, we managed to figure out how not to clap, our eldest daughter sometimes likes to "test" us and check what happens by slamming the gate. Works, just makes a lot of noise.
