Just what I needed! Faux enamel pins are enjoying a renaissance, and I keep a small collection of them in my work bag as a "highlight" symbol, but they kept popping out - the plastic caps they came with just didn't hold them up . The 5mm screw caps are perfect for attaching my pens to the Velcro on the strap of my Chrome messenger bag. They are smaller than the PVC caps, supplied with the pins, they protrude less and are securely screwed into the pin to prevent them from loosening. It was easy with the allen wrench - although the screw heads on these tiny black screws are almost invisible - I just learned how to loosen the screws before screwing them in to align the threads. The screw heads are deep enough for the screws to grip the wrench well and not loosen.
