Although the description says they are machine washable, the label on the sheets says they can only be hand washed and dried horizontally. Hmm, which clinic has the time and space for that? I tried machine washing and drying them because it wasn't practical or economical to return them. They seemed to hold up through a wash and dry well, but I've never seen so much lint in my life. I spent an hour brushing lint off other clothes. I think in the future I'll have to wash and dry separately, which means maybe I won't use sheets at all.
