We use these bowls like any family. That means we don't throw them and we don't try to juggle them. I was happy with the look at first, but the shell cracked in the first week. Anyway, it was 2020 and I had more pressing issues, so I gave up and moved on. I noticed that over the next few weeks more and more shells were breaking off. I've made my mental to-do list to study this more thoroughly, but then again, it's 2020. Trophies aren't exactly the focus. Although today was the last straw. My son handed me a piece of the bowl which he PULLED out of his mouth because it was in his food! Unacceptable and dangerous! I've had mugs that weren't chip resistant and have lasted for years. I don't see how they can be advertised as shatterproof. I just wanted to share my story because it can be very dangerous for others. So now it's 2021, there are still some really pressing issues and now I need to find real shells that are chip resistant. Any suggestions?
