Two screws failed during installation as shown. I was pulling them into wood studs through 1 3/4 inch thick drywall by hand when I felt the screws suddenly loosen and snap right at the junction of the threaded and non-threaded sections. The torque broke the metal. Again I tightened these hand tight, and definitely not with full force. The ease with which they broke was intimidating - I threw the whole box away and plan on getting new screws from the hardware store to replace them.
