First thing I noticed is that the latch that tightens the guard hits my Dewalt 15 amp 7in housing. So just used nut/bolt. Second there are gaps in the spacer to grinder mounting. I used some gorilla tape from inside and it helped reduce the dust. I hooked this dust shroud to a cyclone mounted on a five gallon bucked, powered by pro shop vac. Didn’t eliminate the dust out put from the grinding of thin set, but reduced it by 90%. Update. The front of the shroud opens easily, I had to duct tape it close. Overall, have 7 hours of use, still doing great at collecting the dust. Update 2, October 20, after 60 hrs+ of use this shroud is still working good. Only thing I see is the brushes are showing some wear. Can’t beat it for the price.
