Took the cat on the plane. The rear seat carry option failed because the underbody was not structurally intact. The cat was too stuck, there was no support from the ground to keep it straight. I then carried it but it has no hand carry options, only back straps. My hands ached from discomfort and pain as I walked through airports to the gate. Not easy to put under the seat. I had to squeeze and slide it uncomfortably. The pet carrier is big when it's on the floor and the cat got in, no problem, I actually liked it. Grrat for car and very bad design for air travel or portability. Find easier and more traditional. option in my opinion and experience.
