For the price this is a great mouse pad and it does the job. The material is your typical budget mouse pad, but feels thick enough to wear every day at the desk of a busy doctor's office. It appears to be hand stitched on all sides and is dirty in a few spots, if it falls apart it will be in those spots. However, the colors really disappointed me. Although it looks like marble, the overall color is gray with black marbling rather than white with black marbling by appearance. The "gold" stripes are also not gold, rose gold, or metallic. They are simply a gradient of shades of yellow to create the look of metallic lines. I will not buy it again but for this price I will keep and use it.
