Review on ๐Ÿ”ง GEARWRENCH 1/2-Inch Drive Micrometer Torque Wrench 30-250 Foot Pounds - Model 85066 by Kenneth Witte

That's why I just can't get inside you, snap-on.

So I bought this to replace a torque wrench I bought four years ago. It is important to understand that tools are sold by hundreds of people and only dozens of people MAKE them. My original torque wrench was an off the shelf Husky Signature, Yes This Is The Home Depot Torque Wrench. And you know what, it drove great with all those fancy digital glowing grips, vibrating snap keys the other techs in the shop used great for 4 years until someone borrowed mine and improperly destroyed it. And I honestly have to say that the Torque Wrench Gear Wrench from the Actual Gear Wrench brand feels a lot better in the hands. The handle is all metal, not plastic and rubber. AS LONG AS YOU GET THE MAINTENANCE DUE, this tool will serve you well for all your needs at a fraction of the price you would pay for a tool cart. However, I do miss my signature Husky instrument a lot. I've used it with a technician who had thousand dollar torque wrenches and has run and passed every calibration test on a machine it's ever been fitted to for four years! Because of that, he was special to me.

Pros
  • Hand Tool
Cons
