Got multiple EGR DTC's on my little 90's Nissan Sentra. These models have a lot of vacuum hoses all over them. I've seen some just fall apart over time. Basically I started by ripping out the vacuum hoses and replacing those that looked cracked or old, pretty much anything. The hose feels solid, attaches easily and stays in place. Hello Tempo, so the engine is important. Everything looks fine, the Check Engine light is off and it's running smoothly. The hose even stretched to accommodate multiple hoses that were slightly larger. I just cut a hole in the side and it fits like a sock. You can get it at a parts store, but I like it when it comes straight to my house and I don't have to queue and pay more for less quality.
