I didn't want to use it for a blanket, just to keep my sheet level with my blanket which, after tossing and turning each night in our sleep, we always have in a bullet ended foot. I was skeptical that they would work based on the reviews here, but the alternative was to use the ones that pierced my ceiling and I definitely wasn't planning on doing that. So I took a chance and placed my order. Well, what do you know. They worked. It's been more than a week and the quilt and sheet are still there. A word of caution, for them to work I had to place them at the very end of the quilt. Mostly in the corner where there is practically no filling. This allowed the magnets to be very close together and hold them indefinitely. Addendum: One fell off after a week of use. I found one of the halves on the floor and couldn't find the other half. However, I am so pleased with what you get with this product and the fact that it doesn't pierce my linens that I have ordered a second set as a replacement.
