Review on Panaracer Presta French 48Mm Bicycle Sports & Fitness for Cycling by William Turner

I have loved/used Panaracer products for over 15 years. from the cushy Pasela UBER to the more aggressive crit/cross stuff, they make a great product. until now. In two months, 10 of 13 26" x 1.75-2.25 tubes failed. All fractures occurred at the valve stem junction or along the inside diameter along the tube seam. The failures occurred on three different bikes, three different wheel sets , all with the correct rim tape and no burrs or deviations that caused such errors.On a short tour this happened 5 times in one day between my wife and my respective bikes.All punctures were ID defects, tires were to the correct pressure inflated and not pinched or punctured All failures appear to be due to "bad batch" and production level. I would live to be a Panaracer customer but I did. hear nothing back. I can understand a few bad whistles, but 10+ in such a short time.
