Review on NinjaDog Rechargeable Bark Collar: Adjustable Sensitivity & Intensity - Beep, Vibration, and No Harm Shock for Small Medium Large Dogs by Born Bowman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this collar.

Four years ago my brother was given an adult beagle. The man who passed it on said he had many two dogs; that she was a puppy and since my brother wanted a beagle we thought that was very nice of him. As the week progressed she began to come out of her shell and we began to understand why she was free. Belle is not housebroken and refuses to be. She runs into the woods at all hours of the day unless she is carefully cared for and cannot be trained otherwise. She is not a dog motivated by praise or food; She wants to run and bark at things. It is great. And since dad finds it cruel to leave her tied up, he lets her go when he goes to work. At five in the morning. I usually spend the morning walking in the woods and rescuing a stupid beagle before someone gets too angry and decides to shoot him. Unfortunately, that didn't endear her to me or her, and since hounds tend to only obey when they really, really like you, she's almost as obedient as a dog. No, actually my cats come on command. She is obedient like an ordinary fish. She also loves to lie in the garden and bark when she's where she's supposed to be. Nothing as far as we can see. She just sits there and barks to herself. And she has a real dog bark, a sort of alto yodel that can be heard through the woods half a mile away. This collar has solved all of those problems. Fun when you can't bark. Fighting dogs three times your size isn't fun if they can't be threatened. She's gaining much-needed weight, has four times as many tics as usual, is more affectionate (apparently life is pretty boring if you don't run off to the woods to make people more interesting), and she's no longer obeying my efforts out of habit, so learning it actually brings some progress. I love this collar. And I use it on the minimum sensitivity, only on vibration. Not the best thirty bucks I've ever spent, but definitely there.
