I've always had a love-hate relationship with tinters, starting with questions I get constantly at work like "Is it really worth it?" C burn?' And an unsolvable mystery about witch hazel and its effectiveness, as it always seems to burn the skin on contact. I have been working in dermatology for about 9 years and I love this product. I apply the product twice a day, also use Replenix Green Tea Fortified Cleanser and CeraVe PM Lotion, Retin Cream and Glycolic Scrub 2-3 times a week depending on the number of breakouts on my chin. Sounds like a ton, but it's actually very fast (>2 minutes). Having been in dermatology for so long, I know pretty well what works for acne, oily, anti-aging skin. As stated on the pack, Vitamin C brightens, tightens and smooths fine lines. It also helps remove old acne scars (hyperpigmented areas from previous acne) over time. I feel a slight tingle when I apply this toner, but it doesn't hurt. I also spray onto a cotton pad and apply to problem areas on my face as needed. I have oily Mediterranean skin, nothing can remove excess oil/sebum from my skin for more than 2 hours. This keeps my skin matte and glowing for about 4 hours until my inherited skin traits return. It also has vitamin E and glycolic acid. Vitamin E is good for cell rejuvenation, maintaining healthy skin and can be used to prevent aging/speed up healing (in some cases). Glycolic acid is an excellent exfoliant and helps get rid of hyperpigmented areas after the pimple has gone. "I think it's a worthwhile purchase. You have many options when it comes to skin care and usually dollar amounts mean the most. This is a very affordable, healthy option for acne-prone, oily, anti-aging skin and lasts for several months. The entire InstaNatural line appears to be very efficient and wallet friendly. I highly recommend this product and the InstaCare line to my patients.
