Review on Earth Creative Building Blocks 461PCS: Unleash Your Imagination and Build Infinite Worlds by Bill Snyder

Fantastic model with good non-LEGO parts

Great educational model with a very neat mechanism. The pieces are not original LEGO but made from compatible bricks that work well. There are quirks that I 100% agree with, but they can affect your enjoyment. There is no printed guide, but it is readily available online and can be accessed automatically using the included QR code. The instructions are very clear and structured in the style of real LEGO instructions. The pieces are mostly indistinguishable from LEGO except for some hard to mold pieces, notably the 1x1 pieces with hollow pins on 5 sides. Some of them didn't have enough traction/cohesion ability to hold together well when building the Earth and Sun, so extra care had to be taken with these steps. As an adult this is not a problem. The kid can get upset so keep this in mind as the sun and earth are the first things you build and they can disable the builder for the whole build. Final Thoughts: I will be using this in an educational setting. Children not only learn about the rotation of the planets and solar and lunar eclipses, but also get a fairly advanced understanding of gear ratios. I will buy several sets and have the children assemble and restore the sets. If this might interest you, I'd recommend some LEGO blasphemy and (sigh!) superglue the obnoxious black 1x1 connector to the gray plates holding the planet plates. You can view my submitted photos to see exactly what I mean. I highly recommend.
