Previous reviews mentioned phones not being able to hold a charge. It is true. The conversation lasts about 2 minutes, after which the speaker disappears. Decided there might be a problem with the original batteries. So I ordered new Panasonic batteries. Unfortunately it hasn't changed anything. When I pick up the phone to check the Who Called list, after hanging up the handset goes back to charging. It's like the slightest use causes the handset to "recharge" for a very long time. If it weren't for the "call barring" feature, I would give this phone a "1". If you don't mind picking up the phone and going to the "master" to continue the conversation, then this might work. To you. If you want to talk for more than a minute or two, forget it. Find another phone.
