Terrible update for phones and accessories

Speaker volume is terrible. In addition, about 30% of the time the phone does not register the store keys (e.g. press 5 to cook a product, press 7 to talk to support, etc.). In a hands-free headset, you can barely hear the people on the other end. I would like to return the old device, but it didn't have an option to block calls, which is the only thing about this model. Look elsewhere, this is not a good model update. That's why I'm writing this review as I've only had this for about 3-4…

That does not work! in office electronics

I connected everything as indicated. One of the tubes was not communicating with the base. I moved closer, tried different outlets. Nothing. It was useless. The answering machine database itself kept losing the information I had entered, such as the date and time. It will just go away after a few hours. After trying to fix everything and getting so frustrated I wanted to throw the whole system out the window, instead of paying the return and restocking fee, I just unplugged everything, packed…

Panasonic Corded and Cordless Phone System

My mother (age 100 in 2 days) had an older version of this phone for the last 10 years and the volume control wasn't working and neither did her hearing when I bought her this new phone. She didn't have to learn how to use it because she came very close to the old ones, which had a positive effect on the telephone system. She loves the new volume control that she can use to make calls. Call blocking is easier too. I've lived with her for over a year and this new dual cordless phone is perfect…

Very good phone, lots of nice extras, just a few minor flaws

Pros: Easy to block unwanted numbers, very easy to connect to phones (even later bought ones). The answering machine works well. Volume gets pretty loud on both the base and handsets. Also, the nice big lettering on the base unit's display is a huge improvement over my old phone. Oh, and I LOVE the voice prompt for the number that's ringing. If I'm not wearing glasses, I can hear who it is before deciding whether to wear them (or not). Mediocre quality: The sound quality is ok, but not as good…

Frustration with landline phones

Previous reviews mentioned phones not being able to hold a charge. It is true. The conversation lasts about 2 minutes, after which the speaker disappears. Decided there might be a problem with the original batteries. So I ordered new Panasonic batteries. Unfortunately it hasn't changed anything. When I pick up the phone to check the Who Called list, after hanging up the handset goes back to charging. It's like the slightest use causes the handset to "recharge" for a very long time. If it…

I ordered this product because I trust Panasonic.

I ordered this product because I trust the Panasonic name. I have several of their products and have never had any problems. I chose this phone because it had all the features I wanted. I've been using it for a few weeks and something strange is happening. I mostly use a handheld phone and while I'm talking I hear a crackling sound and then the person on the other end keeps saying I CAN'T HEAR YOU, ARE YOU STILL THERE? So I hang up and call them and a few minutes later the same thing happens…

Reliable product, lots of features, great price for everything you get!

We're in dire need of new cordless phones so after some searching we bought this set. And we're so glad we did. We've had phones for almost four months now and are very happy with our choice. An extra corded phone solved the problem of not having phones when both cordless phones went down. Two satellite charging stations allowed us to locate three phones in different parts of the house. I really like talking caller ID as I don't even need to see the phone to decide whether to answer the call…

CALL BARRING is my favorite feature!

It's time for new phones when I had hearing problems with the old ones. I thought it was the line itself but turns out pld phones just stopped kicking. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Cordless phones are quick to set up and charge (overnight recommended) and offer many features. The wired base is perfect for when the power goes out (common in my area) and it has a backup battery to boot! The call blocking feature is my absolute favorite thing about these phones! I once made the mistake of taking a "sales…

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • It worries me

We had an old set of 3 top cordless phones (at once) from Panasonic. But after we've had them for about 10 years (and they weren't new when we got them), the buttons on some of them were getting a bit dodgy. If you're playing hard at number 1, press 2 on this phone and eventually there's no need to go back to base to make a call. So I started researching. The biggest thing I was looking for was something that wouldn't stick out far from the wall. This is the ONLY ONE on the internet I could…
