After reading many reviews of other card readers and seeing how bulky and finicky they can get over time, I decided on this one. I love its simplicity and the fact that it comes ready to use. When I travel I do a lot of video editing and need to quickly copy 4k videos from 3-4 GoPros at the same time. Before that, I had to either use the SD card adapter in my laptop's SD card reader (surprisingly slow) or use a USB cable to copy directly from the GoPro (I absolutely HATE that GoPro chose to use MTP instead of access the SD card directly ).Card). It's been running great for almost a year now. It's a little chunky on the sides. I can use nearby USB ports with a standard cable, but flash drives and other devices cannot coexist with this reader.
