The yellow cover can be removed by crimping the wire and then snapping the plastic, the blue and red are force crimped over the plastic, or maybe cut the plastic and use another insulation method. I bought them primarily for the yellow ones to make my own low profile built-in ATC 10awg fuse holders, as the bulky ones I've bought in the past have proved very resilient and heated up locally well below the wire's maximum current rating . . I was unfazed by the thickness of the metal on these yellow versions and wouldn't be surprised if they get as hot as the built in fuse holders which I was hoping to bypass even with a well done crimp. At least there are two fewer connections on the diagram.
