Used this to install a Clarion NX404 head unit in a 2008 Ford Expedition where I wanted to keep the factory steering wheel and rear seat controls. I checked this out on Crutchfield to see what I needed and then bought it on Revain. This replaces the extra wiring harness you would normally connect your main unit to. Directions are very clear and wire colors are 1:1 match with Clarion head unit wire harness. The instructions are very simple. Be sure to set the dial to match the setting number of the head unit you are installing with BEFORE connecting to the vehicle for the first time. Works great, no problems.
