We spent a very long time trying to replace the old Presto we had. This lux timer does everything we expected. This way you can measure minutes or seconds or minutes and seconds. If you stop the device and do nothing else, it will return to the last entry. To enter the time, all you have to do is hold your finger on the minute or second button until the device reaches the desired time. It beeps every time the time increases, but that's a minor inconvenience. The magnet is very strong and holds the device securely to the fridge, the easel mount to allow the device to stand freely on the counter seems a little flimsy, but it really is. nice work supporting the timer. The sound could be a little louder. Note, however, that this is a compact timer and produces decent sound for its size.
