Review on πŸ•°οΈ Timeless Elegance: Antique Brass Socket Lamp with a Touch of Nostalgia by Andy Tunes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Call from an amateur.

First of all the wiring replacement worked, the lamp looks fantastic and it was my first time redesigning a lamp - or ANYTHING. My last electrical class was in 6th grade 50 years ago, okay? And I liked it so much. Then a household disaster in which a large amount of black enamel paint was poured into a lamp socket (don't ask) forced me to either rewire or throw out the family heirloom. Pooh. It took me FOUR HOURS to be sure I did it perfectly and well enough to risk the current, but it worked. My only request to the manufacturer: PLEASE remember to label the lugs to indicate which wire is which. I can't tell for sure from the instructions or the hints on YouTube. Coarse/smooth wire? Emm, no. I decided to examine the connector for a large pin and carefully trace the wire to its bare end - three times to be sure. It worked, but I wasn't sure. I would definitely buy this kit again, mainly because of the long cable, the nice finish and the fact that the wires are already stripped. For those of you who know what you're doing, this would take 15 minutes. I have not received any compensation for this review.

Cons
