Firstly, there is NO shade at all, but I would proceed with caution when purchasing these nose rings. The pros here are that they are very stylish and cool in terms of the different types of rings that come with them. However, after a while they cause irritation. As for me, I got a lot of compliments on them, but I soon got a sinus infection because they were irritating my nose quite a bit. At first I thought it was a cold because the weather was changing, but I quickly realized that the nose rings were to blame. Again, no shadow to the seller/manufacturer, but I think it's important to consider the safety and health risks of wearing it. After all, it's a GREAT value for the price here, but buyers beware, things can get a little crazy for you if you wear them for a long time. I would suggest wearing them day/night for special occasions and then going back to regular nose rings for everyday use. Reactions can vary greatly from person to person, but for me it was a very uncomfortable experience. I still give four stars.
