In September 2015 I purchased a PowerFilm solar panel with Delphi Weatherpack connectors. I wanted to provide the same level of weather protection to the rest of the electrical connections in my 12 volt portable solar charging system. Unfortunately, the only crimping tools available for this one-off job were out of my price range. So I crimped everything I could with pliers and hardened it with solder. (There were a few tosses.) I recently decided to make some improvements to my system and was pleased to find these tools at such a great price. As others have attested, they produced perfect curves. It's far better to have the right tool for the job.
