Review on 🚗 Enhanced Motor Performance: AC505 Idle Air Control Valve by Standard Motor Products by Michael Hall

I replaced an OEM part on my F-150 4.6L V8 with this part. The initial stumble on random hot starts is gone, proving the OEM part has failed. However, this part caused the engine to rev over excessively on cold starts, and in the two or so months it was fitted it never got the engine running smoothly or at the correct rpm. At idle it jumped and stalled erratically, constantly forcing me to keep a firm grip on the brake. At times it almost seemed like cruise control. Not good. Reinstalling the computer did not work. I reinstalled the OEM part and these problems went away immediately. I do not recommend this product.
