Our original cable no longer works. I believe the original cable must have had a broken wire inside...because the cable is so heavy and so long I think it's just putting too much stress on the cable. This connection cable comes with a velcro strap that you can use to attach the cable to your headset to take some of the strain off it. This cable is cheaper than the original cable I bought and I think this cable will last a long time. This cable has gold plated connectors and looks very high quality. It works great and delivers high quality video and audio with no lag. I would recommend this item and find it very good.
