Review on Blue Leg Weights For Pop Up Canopies - 4 Pack Anavim Canopy Water Weights Bag by Jonathan Brendemuehl

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Convenient for camping and great for covering the kiddie pool too!

I like the portablity of these weights. If you take them camping or to the beach, you can simply fill them up when you get they're, and they're both lighter and smaller than filled weights, as well as less messy to fill/empty than sandbags. Of course, you're limited to using them where you have a water source. The handle is both nice and wide to easily carry two or more at once, and plenty big to attach with carabiners if you're using it for an application other than pop up canopy legs (for that, each bag has three roomy velcro straps). If you live in a high wind area, these may not be enough weight on their own. In the past, I've used gallon jugs (about the same weight), which are fine for breezy days but not serious wind.I ordered them for a popup canopy we use for camping and outdoor parties, but in the meantime, I'm using them to weight down the improvised tarp cover for our kiddie pool, and they're perfect. The only thing I don't love is the color. I'd prefer a more versatile neutral like black, gray, or an earth tone.

Pros
  • They use water and not sand so I just pour water out when done
Cons
  • Bought a set of 4, 1 of them has split on the round edge of the product :(
