I like the portablity of these weights. If you take them camping or to the beach, you can simply fill them up when you get they're, and they're both lighter and smaller than filled weights, as well as less messy to fill/empty than sandbags. Of course, you're limited to using them where you have a water source. The handle is both nice and wide to easily carry two or more at once, and plenty big to attach with carabiners if you're using it for an application other than pop up canopy legs (for…

Pros
  • They use water and not sand so I just pour water out when done
Cons
  • Bought a set of 4, 1 of them has split on the round edge of the product :(

I ended up ordering the wrong thing. We have a outdoor canopy. But the legs are like a 6” triangle shape and too big to fit in the little space provided with a Velcro‘s. This really is just for a pop-up tent. I’m going to use a nylon strap and attach it to the handle of these bags and connect it to the frame of the canopy at the top of each leg.I like that the size is small but heavy. It’s much better than some of the other things we’ve tried to weigh it down. Very durable bag. Watertight…

Pros
  • The water weight bags are easy to fill and empty, and the blue color provides a stylish and professional look for your canopy. These weights are also easy to transport and store, thanks to their lightweight and compact design. So, whether you're at home or on the go, you can be sure your canopy stays safely anchored in place
Cons
  • The weight bags may be unsightly and detract from the overall aesthetic of your event or camping area

Doubled up for a DIY shade over my back door.

I have a 5x5 foot sun shade that I needed to shade my back door that gets western sun and I don't have any way to attach it to the house so.I bought four 10 foot PVC pipes and cut a foot of pipe off each one and attached elbow pieces (4 per side) with T's at the tops and bottoms of each pipe to connect them. I had a couple of pallets I'd scavenged and used one to make a platform to cover the bottom pipes, but with these weight bags, I added another amount of weight to hold the frame and the…

Pros
  • Canopies, Gazebos & Pergolas
Cons
  • The weight bags take up extra storage space when not in use

Convenient, Easy to Use, Nice Carrying Handle for Convenience

I like that these can be filled with water instead of sand. I don't have a bunch of sand sitting around to fill canopy weights with sand, so this is great for me. I also like how at the end of the season, these can be emptied out, disinfected and air-dried then stored. The material these are made from is sturdy and the water, which gets quite heavy, is what helps to make these stable. There are 3 velcro (hook and loop) straps on each bag, so although the velcro isn't hard to open when trying…

Pros
  • Canopies
Cons
  • The bags may take a long time to fill with water

Great way to add some extra security for your canopy.

I got these water weight bags to add to the legs of my canopy to help secure it to the ground. I live where there are wind gusts frequently and have had an umbrella ripped out of the holder so I decided to take a chance on these. They are thick and well made with nice waterproof seams. They hold water great with no leaks. I added an additive to mine to turn them into a gel so they are more sturdy, however they work just as well without that. They have three Velcro ties on one end to secure it…

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • Can be more expensive than other canopy weight solutions, such as sandbags

Easy to use and held the pop-up upright on a windy day

Velcro straps make it easy to put on legs. Easy to fill and drain. Handles make it easy to carry and empty containers. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • The Blue Leg Weights from Anavim are a great addition to your pop-up canopy as they provide great stability to your structure. These weights are designed to hold their ground even in windy conditions, making them ideal if you're using your canopy for outdoor events or trade shows
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all types of terrain, such as steep inclines or uneven surfaces

Withstands monsoon winds

Kept our frame from blowing away during a recent monsoon. We take the canopy off our EZ up but leave the frame up. No issues with these weights

Pros
  • This is a great product. Ease of use and empty the water and store when not in use.
Cons
  • Can become cumbersome and heavy when filled to capacity

Best choice available to hold down the canopy

Needed to hold down a canopy on concrete so no stakes. I did not want to lug around sand bags. This product was perfect. Fill them with water; hold the canopy; and remove water for storage.

Pros
  • Just what I was looking for, fixed the floating ladder problem perfectly.
Cons
  • Kind of pricey for the straps to rip right off in a rainstorm and let your canopy be destroyed.

Great product on my review.

Very sturdy bags, easy to fill and empty. Heavy enough (22 lbs each) to hold the canopy but easy to carry around when needed.

Pros
  • Specially designed straps will ensure that the Weight Bags stay securely attached to your Instant Canopy or Pop Up Shelter legs or upper trusses.
Cons
  • Cannot be used on hard surfaces, as the bag requires water to be effective

Weight Bags best in my review

I got these to tie on the to pool cover so that it will not blow over or the pool cover sink inside the pool and it works just fill bags with water and tie it to the pool cover and the pool cover stay on

Pros
  • Weight bag deflates for easy storage.
Cons
  • The bags are not suitable for indoor use, as they require a source of water
