Great product that has allowed me to get rid of all single room humidifiers and refill them constantly. A few hints. 1. Make sure you route the 6" vent tube from the round hole back to the air intake. I've seen some people just leave it open after attaching it to the heater side of the duct. Humidifiers of this type do not work properly and you miss out on a more even distribution of moisture. 2. Remove the faucet and install the ball valve. You must adjust the ball valve so that only a trickle flows through the drain pipe into the condensate pump or drain. The line outlet is not adjustable and you need to halve the flow or more. 3. When closing the cover, make sure the small tabs keep the filter inside. Forced air from the oven blows the top of the filter into the unit, causing it to slope rather than straight up and down, preventing proper air and water flow through the filter. 4.
