Review on Protection Battery Charging Controller Ternary by Brian Cheney

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I wanted to like it, but it turned out to be unreliable for my use

This protection board works pretty well as long as there is no voltage applied to the plug causing poor contact and wrong readings. I tested this board for 3 months with a 6S 2P Li-ion battery and as long as the connector was dead it worked properly, shutting off the power to prevent deep discharge at around 16V and stopping charging when it failed reached about 25.2V when each cell is properly balanced. But. At the end of charging the BMS gets very hot and when I screwed the battery on the connector caused bad contacts and then I got weird readings like 11.34V while the battery was 17.24V. So I will use it for another battery with no voltage on the connector. Now I use another model with soldered wires.

Pros
  • WIDE APPLICATION: It is used to stably operate various charging and discharging protection functions, such as: B. Over charge protection, over discharge protection, over current protection, etc.
Cons
  • High Price
