So far, so good! I don't know if you can see it in the picture but I hold it up and a lot of very thin misty vapor comes out. I love it. Tonight will be a crucial moment for the device as I need comfortable humidity in the room to sleep. Now that the air has gotten very dry here in the fall and winter we have gotten used to the humidity and when the humidity is gone you really feel how dry the air is; So I hope this humidifier does its job, especially in terms of creating a comfortable bedroom for a good night's sleep, and I really hope it stops my husband from snoring all night! The device is very quiet; it's very modern; You can also turn off the light. I'm a very light sleeper so tonight will be another pivotal moment for this block; I can hardly hear anything working; It's very quiet so I really hope it helps me and my husband get a good night's sleep. So far I'm impressed. *Update: We slept like babies! he snored a little, but not like his usual "bear in the woods" snore! and I didn't wake up with a dry mouth and nose. The tank was full when I started it well before bed - at least an hour before bed - and still had water in it at 5am this morning. I had a medium powered unit; The only thing is that the room also has to be dark for me to sleep and we had to wrap a piece of black tape around the green power button; I mean as long as it emits mist from above you know it's its own no light is needed. The most interesting thing is that I didn't hear anything! it is really very quiet. I might try an essential oil tray with some lavender oil tonight and give it a try.
