These buttons are perfect for their purpose. I ordered 3 different colors - red, green and blue. Blue has a different button feel and the harness is wired differently and the pin arrangement is different. Compared to the wiring of the other two buttons, the green and yellow wires on the green button are reversed. I assumed each of the buttons would have the same wiring and connected them as such, but when I hooked everything up to test I found that the green button wasn't working. I had to cut the yellow wire and connect it to the green one to make it work. This lack of consistency can prove very frustrating, whether you're just binding a few keys or even more if you're doing this type of work on a regular basis. Conclusion: Don't trust the cable colors. Use a multimeter to check how each button should be set. To be on the safe side, match the button to the seat belt and label each component so nothing gets mixed up during installation. These buttons were used in conjunction with the Adafruit sound card to replicate Marc Robert's horn in my cars.
